Madura is an Indonesian island off the northeastern coast of Java. The island comprises an area of approximately 4,078.67 km² (administratively 5,168 km² including various smaller islands to the east and north). Madura is administered as part of the East Java province. It is separated from Java by the narrow Strait of Madura. The administered area has a density of 702 people per km², while that of the island itself (3,630,000 people in 2012 count) is higher at 817/km².

1

DAY 1 : SURABAYA TRANSFER IN – SUMENEP (L, D)

Suggest ETA morning

1. Meet & greet Juanda Airport/Surabaya Station.

2. Go to Madura Island, cross the Suramadu bridge to visit Jaddih Hills in Bangkalan. here you will see a formation of white limestone carvings of gigantic size, limestone cliffs in Jaddih Village is not naturally formed, but it is the masterpiece of traditional white brick miners, For years, the miners take the white brick by cutting parts of the hill using a saw to form an exotic and artistic formation.

3. After that transfer to hotel in Sumenep, check in & free program.

4. Lunch & dinner at Local Resto.

DAY 2 : BULLRACE – GILI IYANG - SANDMATTRASS (B, L, D)

1. After breakfast at hotel, seeing Karapan Sapi festive (buffalo Racing) Karapan sapi is a traditional bull racing festival on the Indonesian island of Madura (subject to calendar event). The local bulls are yoked to wooden skids and raced for 130 meters, similar to a chariot race. There are several of these races throughout the season, The bulls participating in the event are adorned with gold and other decorations, and the event may be accompanied by Gamelan music, food, and wagers on the outcome of the races.

2. Trip will continue To Gili Iyang. towards the Dungkek port to take a boat that will go to Gili Iyang (subject to weather condition). It will be takes 45 minutes to reach GiliIyang.

3. Then explore the beauty of Gili, visit the area as the highest oxygent content in the world 21,5 percent and the water known can make people young, The another Madura’s unique, there’s also kasur pasir which is used for their daily use, such as for their mattras to sleep,as their chair and table .

4. Then Back to hotel & free program.

DAY 3 : SHOPPING – SURABAYA TRANSFER OUT (B)

1. After breakfast at Hotel & check out.

2. Visit the great mosque of Sumenep, one of the oldest of the ten mosques in Indonesia. The influence of Islamic, China and Europe style make this building unique and interested, Sumenep palace complex, Shopping time at traditional batik shop, traditional souvenir shop.

3. Transfer to Juanda Airportt/Surabaya Station.

4. Lunch or dinner optional.
